Uzbekistan and Hungary establish enhanced strategic partnership
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Following high-level talks in Budapest between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán, the two countries signed a Joint Declaration on the establishment of an enhanced strategic partnership.
In the presence of both leaders, a package of intergovernmental and interagency agreements was also exchanged.
Among the signed documents are an Extradition Treaty, an Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Climate Change, and accords in areas such as disaster management, scientific and innovative collaboration, and the peaceful use of nuclear energy. These agreements are aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.
